Coming Soon Tools

The Coming Soon section showcases tools that are actively being developed for the Reeva platform. These tools are not yet available for use, but you can upvote them to help us prioritize which tools to complete first.

Overview​

Coming Soon tools display basic information about their planned functionality:

  • Title: The name of the tool
  • Category: The service or domain it belongs to (e.g., Microsoft, Google, etc.)
  • Description: A brief overview of what the tool will do
  • Fire Vote Button: An animated voting button with visual feedback

Voting System​

Each Coming Soon tool features an interactive fire-themed voting button inspired by Medium's clap feature. Express your interest by voting for tools you'd like to see developed!

How Voting Works​

  1. Navigate to the Tools > Coming Soon tab
  2. Find the tool you're interested in
  3. Tap the fire icon to add a single vote
  4. Tap and hold to continuously add votes (up to your limit)
  5. Watch the animated feedback as your votes register!

Interactive Animation Features​

The voting system includes satisfying visual feedback:

  • Gradient Flame Icon: The fire icon transforms from gray (outline) to a vibrant yellow-orange-red gradient after your first vote
  • Floating "+X" Bubble: Shows how many votes you've added in the current session, floating upward before fading away
  • Fire Particles: Each vote spawns colorful ember particles that burst outward
  • Pulse Animation: The button pulses with each vote
  • Glow Effect: The filled flame icon has a subtle animated glow

Tap and Hold​

For rapid voting, simply hold down the fire button:

  • First tap adds 1 vote immediately
  • After a brief delay (400ms), votes are added continuously every 150ms
  • Release to stop adding votes
  • Works on both desktop (mouse) and mobile (touch)

Debounced API Calls​

To ensure a smooth experience, votes are batched and sent to the server after you stop voting (1.5 seconds of inactivity). This means:

  • You see immediate visual feedback
  • The server isn't overwhelmed with requests
  • Your votes are saved reliably

Voting Limits​

  • Maximum votes per user, per tool: 10
  • Once you reach 10 votes for a tool, the vote button becomes disabled
  • The tooltip shows "Maximum votes reached (10)" when you've hit the limit
  • You can see your personal vote count and the total community votes on each card

Vote Display Format​

The vote counter shows:

  • You: X - Your personal vote count for this tool (including current session)
  • Total: Y - The total community votes for this tool

Microsoft OneDrive​

Category: Microsoft
Status: Coming Soon

Manage your Microsoft OneDrive files directly from the platform. Upload, download, list, and organize files in your cloud storage.

Planned Features:

  • Upload files to OneDrive
  • Download files from OneDrive
  • List files and folders
  • Create and manage directories
  • Share and manage permissions

Contributing to Development​

Your votes help us understand which integrations matter most to our community. Tools with the highest vote counts are prioritized in our development roadmap.

If you have suggestions for tools that should be on the Coming Soon list, please reach out to our team through the support channels.

What Happens After Tools Are Released​

Once a Coming Soon tool is completed and released:

  1. It moves to the Browse All tab in production
  2. You can create custom tool configurations for it
  3. You can add it to your servers and use it in your automations
  4. The voting data is retained for analytics purposes

Accessibility​

The voting button is fully accessible:

  • Keyboard navigation supported (Tab to focus, Enter/Space to vote)
  • Screen reader labels describe the current vote status
  • Focus indicators are clearly visible
  • Tooltips provide additional context
