Getting Started​

What is Reeva?​

Reeva is a no-code platform for building MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers. Compose tools from 50+ integrations into servers that work with Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, and any MCP-compatible IDE.

Do I need to code?​

No! Reeva is completely no-code. Create servers, configure tools, and deploy to IDEs through a visual interface.

What is MCP?​

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard for connecting AI agents to external tools. It's like a REST API specifically designed for AI interactions.

Can I request new tools?​

Yes! Submit feature requests through the dashboard or contact support.

Do all tools require authentication?​

No. Many tools like Web Search, Math, and Text utilities work without credentials. Tools that access external services (Notion, Jira, etc.) require authentication.

What's the difference between base tools and custom tools?​

Base tools: The 50+ integrations we maintain
Custom tools: Your configured instances with credentials and defaults

Think of base tools as templates and custom tools as your personalized copies.

Servers​

What is a server?​

A server is a collection of your custom tools exposed through the MCP protocol. Each server can be connected to IDEs independently.

How many servers can I create?​

Unlimited! Create as many servers as you need.

How many tools per server?​

Recommended: 5-15 tools per server for best organization. Technical limit is much higher.

Can I use the same tool in multiple servers?​

Yes! Create one custom tool and add it to multiple servers.

Can IDEs access multiple servers?​

Yes! Configure multiple servers in your IDE's MCP settings.

Credits & Billing​

How do credits work?​

Credits are consumed when tools execute. Different tools cost different amounts (1-5 credits typically).

Do credits expire?​

No! One-time purchase credits never expire.

What if I run out of credits?​

Tool execution is blocked until you purchase more. Your data and servers remain intact.

Can I get a refund?​

Credits are non-refundable, but they never expire. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime.

Do subscription credits roll over?​

Yes! Unused monthly credits accumulate indefinitely.

Can I use Reeva without an IDE?​

Yes! Test and use tools through:

  • Chat interface in dashboard
  • API Playground for testing
  • REST API for programmatic access

Why isn't my IDE recognizing the server?​

Common fixes:

  1. Restart IDE completely (not just reload)
  2. Verify JSON configuration syntax
  3. Check API key is correct
  4. Ensure server has tools added

Security & Privacy​

Are my credentials secure?​

Yes! Credentials are:

  • Encrypted at rest
  • Never logged or exposed
  • Only injected at tool execution
  • Scoped to your account

Who can access my servers?​

Only you. Servers, tools, and credentials are private to your account.

Can I share servers with team members?​

Team features coming soon! Currently servers are per-user.

Where is data stored?​

  • Credentials: Firebase (encrypted)
  • Usage logs: Supabase
  • Server configs: Firebase
  • Tool execution: Processed in memory, not stored

Technical​

What's the API rate limit?​

  • Management APIs: 100 requests/minute
  • MCP endpoints: 1000 requests/minute
  • Tool execution: Limited by credits, not rate limits

Can I use Reeva programmatically?​

Yes! Full REST API available. See API Reference.

Do you have an SDK?​

Not yet, but API is straightforward REST + JSON-RPC. SDKs coming soon.

What's the uptime SLA?​

We aim for 99.9% uptime. Check status page for current status.

How do I report bugs?​

Costs & Plans​

Is there a free tier?​

New accounts get trial credits to get started. After that, purchase credits or subscribe.

What's the difference between packages and subscriptions?​

Packages: One-time credit purchase
Subscriptions: Monthly recurring credits (better value for high usage)

Can I downgrade my subscription?​

Yes! Changes take effect at next billing cycle.

Do you offer enterprise plans?​

Yes! Contact sales for custom pricing and features.

Troubleshooting​

My tool is failing - how do I debug?​

  1. Test in API Playground for detailed errors
  2. Check Usage logs for execution history
  3. Verify credentials are valid
  4. Ensure sufficient credits

How do I see what went wrong?​

Dashboard → Usage:

  • View all executions
  • See error messages
  • Check credits deducted
  • Export logs

"Insufficient credits" but I have credits?​

Check the specific tool's cost. It may cost more than expected (e.g., Firecrawl costs 3 credits, not 1).

Tool works in dashboard but not in IDE?​

  1. Restart IDE completely
  2. Verify MCP configuration
  3. Check API key hasn't been revoked
